Our Story

Founded in 1993 by dedicated Junior League volunteers, STAR House Foundation emerged from the urgent need for after-school support for economically disadvantaged students in North Fulton County. Initially serving 24 children, STAR House has grown to provide essential academic tutoring, nutritious snacks, and mentorship to over 200 at-risk children in three Title I schools. With a commitment to fostering educational success and personal growth, STAR House continues to expand its programs, including academic year and summer camp initiatives, to reach even more vulnerable children in the community.

Our Impact

Each year, STAR House serves over 200 at-risk children, providing more than 37,000 snacks and significantly improving their academic performance and attitudes towards learning.
