Staples Tuition Grants

Our Story

Founded in 1943 by a dedicated group of Westporters, Staples Tuition Grants believes that every Staples High School graduate should have the opportunity to pursue higher education, regardless of their financial situation. As an independent 501(c)(3) organization, STG relies entirely on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations to fulfill its mission.

Impact

Since its inception, Staples Tuition Grants has transformed the lives of thousands of graduates by providing need-based financial support for undergraduate and vocational education. In June 2024, STG awarded $381,500 to 105 students, helping them bridge the gap between their financial capabilities and the rising costs of education.
