About the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center
The Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is dedicated to serving children, low-income families, and aging New Yorkers. As a pioneer of Meals on Wheels since 1964, the Isaacs Center promotes dignity and self-reliance across generations. In May 2021, a strategic partnership with Goddard Riverside was formed to enhance services, culminating in a merger by June 2024.
Impact on the Community
Serving over 2,000 older adults, including residents of public housing and Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC), the Isaacs Center provides essential services such as Meals on Wheels, educational activities, and health management, ensuring that older neighbors can age in place with dignity.
