Our Story
Founded in 1901 by telegraph operators Charles Cowman and Ernest Kilbourne, the Stanita Foundation, known as One Mission Society, began its journey in Japan with a mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Over 120 years later, this vision has expanded to 78 countries, engaging approximately 300 full-time missionaries. The foundation operates on the principle that empowering local leaders to multiply believers and churches is the most effective way to spread the Gospel.
