About Stanislaus Multi-Cultural Health Coalition

The Stanislaus Multi-Cultural Health Coalition, also known as the West Modesto Community Collaborative (WMCC), has been a beacon of hope since its inception in 1991. Founded by a passionate group of 15 community leaders, WMCC focuses on addressing health disparities affecting African American, Hispanic, Southeast Asian, and other communities in Stanislaus County. Through strong partnerships with local health services, schools, and government entities, WMCC has created a robust network dedicated to improving community health and well-being.

Impact of WMCC

In 2023, WMCC made a significant impact by providing counseling to 48 families, enrolling 34 new and expecting mothers in educational programs, serving 1,519 meals through the Senior Luncheon program, and processing 299 applications for the Navigation Program. These efforts exemplify WMCC's commitment to fostering a healthier community.
