Founded over 30 years ago, the Stamford Junior Wrestling Club (SJWC) is dedicated to providing high-quality Folkstyle and Freestyle instruction to youth in lower Fairfield County. With a focus on developing athletes both on and off the mat, SJWC has become one of the largest and most successful wrestling clubs in Connecticut. The club's motto, 'Champions are Formed, not Born,' reflects its commitment to nurturing talent and character.
The Warrior Wrestling Program manages 30-60 wrestlers aged 6 to 14, fostering a winning history and developing champions. By instilling resilience and a 'Never, never, never give up!' mentality, the program helps young athletes grow into well-rounded individuals.
