In 1956, two ambitious teens from Clawson founded a theatre group that began with just eight attendees. Today, Stagecrafters has blossomed into one of Metro Detroit’s most beloved community theatres, located in the historic Baldwin Theatre in downtown Royal Oak. Now in its 67th season, Stagecrafters continues to entertain audiences by bringing Broadway a little closer to home.
Since reopening in 1985, Stagecrafters has staged hundreds of productions, enriching the cultural landscape of Royal Oak and beyond.
