Founded in July 1995 in Malden, Massachusetts, St Paul’s Community Church began as the first Kenyan church in New England. Led by the Ven. Peter Gachathi, it has grown into a vibrant center for worship, prayer, and social gathering for the Kenyan community. In 2007, the church moved to its current location in Lawrence, Massachusetts, following a successful fundraising campaign, emphasizing a family atmosphere and inclusivity.
For over ten years, St Paul’s Community Church has supported destitute children at the Mothers Mercy Home in Kenya, contributing more than $2,000 annually. The church also serves the local community by feeding the hungry and clothing the needy, embodying the great commandment of Jesus.
