Our Story

The Saint Paul & Ramsey County Domestic Abuse Intervention Project (SPIP) was founded in 1984 by a dedicated group of community members who recognized the urgent need for intervention in domestic violence cases. This grassroots organization has been at the forefront of providing essential services to victims while advocating for systemic change within the criminal justice system.

Impact

Each year, SPIP serves approximately 6,200 victims and their children, offering crisis intervention and transitional services that lead to increased safety and improved access to community resources.
