Founded in 1935 by Reverend Edward J. Higgins, the Catholic War Veterans of the USA was established to advocate for the rights of Catholic servicemen and women. With a rich history, the organization received a Congressional Charter in 1984 and an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Pius XI, embodying the principles of Catholicism and patriotism.
