Founded in 1870 by The Sisters of the Community of St. Mary, St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children has a rich history as New York City’s first hospital dedicated to acutely ill children. Over the past 150 years, the organization has evolved, relocating to a nine-acre campus in Queens and expanding its services to include a family-centered home care program for children with complex medical needs.
