Founded in 1870 by The Sisters of the Community of St. Mary, St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children was New York City’s first hospital dedicated to acutely ill children. Over the years, it has evolved to provide a comprehensive range of services aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of children and families.
