Our Story

St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center began in 2000 as a street ministry in Flint, providing essential clothing and food to the homeless. By 2002, a permanent home was established, launching programs aimed at helping women improve their lives. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to include social enterprises and community support, effectively addressing generational poverty.

Impact

Currently, St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center serves over 1,000 individuals monthly through its food pantry, offering critical support services that facilitate transitions out of poverty. The successful launch of social enterprises has created job opportunities for program graduates, fostering community empowerment.
