The St. Joseph Junior Foundation was established in 1952 as a tribute to Phil Upton, a talented young sailor whose life was tragically cut short. This foundation is dedicated to providing affordable sailing and water safety instruction to both youth and adults, fostering a safe and enjoyable environment to appreciate the beautiful natural resources of St. Joseph, Michigan.
