Our Story

Founded in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Francis, St Francis Healthcare System of Hawaiʻi has been a cornerstone of compassionate, quality healthcare in the islands. With a mission rooted in charity, peacemaking, joy, and simplicity, the organization has evolved from a single hospital into a comprehensive network of services, including post-acute care, hospice care, and home health services. Today, St Francis continues to serve the community with dedication and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of every person it encounters.

Impact

Each year, St Francis serves 10,000 hot meals, cares for 1,170 hospice patients, and assists 66 bathing clients monthly.
