Founded in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Francis, St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaiʻi has become a cornerstone of compassionate, quality healthcare in the islands. With a mission rooted in charity, peacemaking, joy, and simplicity, the organization has evolved from a single hospital into a comprehensive network of services, including post-acute care, hospice care, and home health services. Over the decades, innovative programs have expanded its reach and impact, all while remaining true to its founding principles.

St. Francis serves over 10,000 hot meals and supports 1,170 hospice patients yearly, providing essential services to the community.
