Our Story

Since 1986, the St. Francis Center of Redwood City has served as a vital community hub, providing essential services, education, and affordable housing to empower families in need. Founded to assist hardworking, impoverished families struggling with high living costs, the Center has evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, focusing on compassion and dignity.

Impact

Serving approximately 2,500 individuals monthly through its food pantry and providing housing for nearly 1,300 residents across 17 properties, the St. Francis Center has transformed the North Fair Oaks neighborhood into a vibrant community.
