Founded in 1982 by Deacon Ken and Marie Finn, St. Dismas Guild is a Catholic non-profit inspired by Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta. The organization is dedicated to evangelizing the poorest of the poor by providing free Catholic books and materials to prisoners and those in need. With a mission to bring Jesus Christ to the broken, lost, lonely, sick, and imprisoned, St. Dismas Guild has served over 50,000 prisoners across more than 1,000 facilities in the United States.
Each month, St. Dismas Guild distributes the Bread of Life Catholic Bible Study and other publications to over 135 prisoners, reaching more than 1,000 facilities. Additionally, a monthly newsletter is sent to over 5,000 recipients, sharing powerful testimonies of healing and transformation through the Word of God.
