Our Story

Founded in 1801, St. David’s Society of the State of New York has a rich history of assisting needy immigrants from Wales. Established as a Benevolent Society, it provides essential medical care and burial plots, while also honoring the achievements of Welsh and Welsh Americans through the prestigious Hopkins Bronze Medal.

Our Impact

With over 200 scholarships awarded, the Society continues to support the educational aspirations of students of Welsh ancestry and provides emergency grants to those in need.
