Founded in 1908, St. Barnabas Senior Services (SBSS) is the oldest senior service agency in Los Angeles. Grounded in the belief that all older adults deserve to age with dignity, SBSS has evolved from a single senior center in Mid-City to a comprehensive organization providing innovative services across the Greater Los Angeles Area. With a steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion, SBSS adapts to the changing needs of the aging population.
Each year, SBSS enhances the quality of life for over 18,000 older adults. In the past year alone, the organization has served over 295,000 meals, provided more than 9,000 hours of case management, and facilitated over 2,000 wellness classes and activities, ensuring that seniors can live independently and with dignity.
