SpringSpirit was established in 2009 by Kenny Baldwin, who grew up in a community similar to the one SpringSpirit serves today. With the support of loving parents, mentors, and opportunities in sports, Kenny was able to pursue a college education at Rice University on a baseball scholarship. After a successful career in consulting, he and his wife founded SpringSpirit to provide underserved children with the same life-changing opportunities he received.
