Our Story

The Vermilion Lake Association has dedicated itself to the protection and enhancement of Lake Vermilion since 1968. With a focus on aquatic invasive species prevention and fisheries management, the organization strives to improve the outdoor experience for all who cherish this beautiful lake.

Impact

Thanks to the relentless efforts of the SCLV board and supportive legislators, the fish hatchery was reopened in 1972, leading to a resurgence in local fish populations. Over the decades, the club has spearheaded numerous projects that have transformed Lake Vermilion into a premier fishing destination.
