The Spokane Food Policy Council was established in 2013 to enhance the local food system in Spokane, Washington. Comprised of diverse stakeholders, including health districts, charities, and local businesses, the Council is dedicated to fostering equity and addressing food insecurity through sustainable practices.

Our Impact

Engaging over 350 stakeholders, the Spokane Food Policy Council has informed the Spokane Regional Food Action Plan, focusing on community health by reducing food waste, increasing access to healthy food, and preserving farmland.
