About The Spirit Room
The Spirit Room began as a grassroots arts organization in 1997, fostering a vibrant community through gallery exhibits and literary events. Originally supported by yoga, dance, and meditation classes, the organization has grown significantly since its inception. In 2000, a new gallery was established at 111 Broadway in downtown Fargo, and in 2004, The Spirit Room became a recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization. With the support of grants and generous donations, it continues to expand its mission to enrich lives through creative, contemplative, and healing arts.
