Our Story

Founded in 1995 by Akuyoe Graham, Spirit Awakening Foundation is dedicated to uplifting abused, neglected, and underserved youth in Los Angeles County. Through innovative arts-based programs, SAF promotes healing and self-worth, addressing the needs of incarcerated and systems-involved youth while standing against racism and inequality.
