Founded in 1999 by Jeanne Widdicombe and Karen Stockstill, Specialty Tutoring emerged from a deep commitment to help children struggling with learning. Starting in two borrowed preschool classrooms, the organization has grown significantly over the years, driven by the needs of the community and the passion of dedicated tutors. The ‘little yellow tutoring house’ on Coldwater Road became a beacon of hope for many families seeking educational support.
