Support For Surviving Spouses

About Special Ops Survivors

Special Ops Survivors is dedicated to providing support and community for the surviving spouses of fallen warriors from the Special Operations community. Established in 2002, the organization has touched the lives of over 280 families, ensuring that no one has to face their grief alone.

Our Story

The journey began in early 2002 when a Navy SEAL, moved by the loss of his comrade Neil Roberts in Afghanistan, organized a fundraiser to support Neil's family. This grassroots effort raised nearly $2,900, igniting a passion to help all surviving spouses of Special Operations personnel. What started as a small initiative evolved into the United Warrior Survivor Foundation, and later, Special Ops Survivors, reflecting a broader mission to serve all families affected by the loss of their loved ones in service.

Impact

Since its inception, Special Ops Survivors has created a vital support network for grieving spouses, helping them navigate their loss and find healing through community.
