Our Story

Founded in 1984 by dedicated parents of children with special needs, the Special Needs Advocacy Network Inc has evolved into a leading organization in Special Education Advocacy across Massachusetts. With a commitment to continuing education, this volunteer-run organization has grown from a small group of pioneers into a formalized Board of Directors, dedicated to supporting advocates and families alike. The mission remains clear: to empower individuals through education and advocacy.

Our Impact

Thanks to generous supporters, the Special Needs Advocacy Network has provided over 200 scholarships, totaling more than $16,000. These scholarships ensure that individuals from underserved communities can access vital workshops, resources, and support necessary for their success in navigating the complexities of special education.
