Founded in 1969, Special Children's Charities has been dedicated to funding special recreation programs across Chicago. Initially partnering with the Chicago Park District, the organization has expanded its reach to include Chicago Public Schools and various agencies, ensuring that children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to high-quality recreational, educational, and social activities.
