Founded in 1993, Special Abilities of North Texas began as a small charitable organization in Denton County, dedicated to providing support and care for adults with special needs. Originally known as 'Adult Day Care of North Texas', the organization evolved to better serve its community, officially adopting the name 'Special Abilities of North Texas' in 2012.
