Established in 2018, Speaking Out Collective (SOC) emerged from the community's need for innovative arts-based programming. Officially recognized as a nonprofit in 2019, SOC is a vibrant collective of BIPOC artists dedicated to nurturing creativity and critical thinking in marginalized communities across Minnesota.
In less than five years, SOC has positively impacted over 3,000 children and 500 teachers annually, serving 14 elementary schools and multiple early learning centers, particularly in trauma-affected areas.
