Spay Neuter Inject Protect San Antonio (SNIPSA) is a compassionate organization formed by veterinarians and dedicated individuals committed to rescuing homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and its surrounding areas. Without a standing shelter, SNIPSA relies on a devoted group of volunteers who foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This unique approach allows for a deeper understanding of each animal's needs and behaviors, ensuring a successful adoption process.

Impact on the Community

Since its incorporation in 2006, SNIPSA has successfully re-homed over 20,000 animals, primarily from kill shelters. In 2023 alone, Animal Care Services impounded more than 30,000 animals, with thousands facing euthanasia. SNIPSA's efforts to rescue animals from dire situations and provide essential medical care, spay/neuter services, and rehabilitation are crucial in combating the growing stray population.
