Our Story

Founded in 2002 by two compassionate women, Spay and Stay emerged as a response to the growing number of stray and feral cats in Lake County, Illinois. As the first and only TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) group in the area, the organization has made a significant impact on the local feline population.

Impact

Since its inception, Spay and Stay has successfully sterilized and vaccinated approximately 20,000 cats, playing a crucial role in controlling the feral cat population.
