Our Story
In May of 1922, 26 doctor’s wives from 11 states gathered in St. Louis, recognizing the need for a national organization to support the medical profession through the wives of doctors. This vision led to the creation of the Spartanburg County Medical Society Auxiliary in 1925, evolving into the Spartanburg County Medical Society Alliance. The Alliance is dedicated to enhancing health and quality of life through education and charitable initiatives.
