Inspired by the tragic events of the 2012 school shooting in Newtown, CT, co-founder Neil Silverston established SparkShare to empower youth in addressing community challenges. Through a listening tour with teens in Greater Boston, the organization was born to foster shared responsibility and innovative problem-solving among young leaders.
With 200 youth participants across 30 teams, SparkShare has positively impacted over 5,600 community members. Surveys reveal that 98% of participants gained new ideas, while 93% feel more prepared to enact change in their communities.
