Our Story

Founded in 1978 by retired older adults, Raices Inc addresses the needs of the Latino, minority, and low-income aging community in Brooklyn and Queens. The organization developed an innovative 'ethnic ramp' concept, ensuring culturally and linguistically appropriate services that enhance access and utilization for older adults of color.

Our Impact

Raices Inc serves over 107,000 meals annually and supports more than 3,250 participants with health and wellness activities, case management, educational classes, and mental health services.
