Our Story

The Friends of Mental Health was established in 2004 by the late Dr. John Berry and his wife Kathleen. Their vision was to raise awareness and educate the community about mental illness while fundraising for essential support services. What began as a small group of friends has grown into a vital organization dedicated to addressing direct patient needs and enhancing mental health services in Gibson, Posey, Warrick, and Vanderburgh counties.
