Our Story
Founded in 1957, the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES) emerged from the Texas Association of Episcopal Schools to foster collaboration among schools across a vast region. With the inclusion of schools from Louisiana and Oklahoma in the 1970s, SAES now encompasses institutions from six states and eleven dioceses. The organization has consistently prioritized high standards in education, beginning its accreditation services in 1987 and becoming a founding member of the Texas Private Schools Accreditation Commission.
