The Southside Aviator was co-founded by Michael Gilliam and Marcus Gilliam, who both faced challenges in pursuing their dreams in aviation due to a lack of resources and mentorship. Inspired by Michael's journey from aspiring pilot to professional airline pilot, the organization aims to support minority youth in underserved neighborhoods.
