Our Story
Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, formerly known as Madison Audubon Society, has been a champion for bird conservation since 1935. Serving ten counties in south-central Wisconsin, this organization engages over 3,000 members in protecting and improving habitats for birds and wildlife through land acquisition, management, education, and advocacy.
Impact
SoWBA has successfully protected thousands of acres of critical habitat and is recognized as a leader in land stewardship, ranking third among over 450 Audubon chapters nationwide.
