Mission Story
The Southern Sudan Mission began in 2008 when Tyrone Mynhier was called to teach South Sudanese refugees in Ethiopia. With over 45 years of mission experience, Tyrone relocated the Ethiopian-Sunset International Bible Institute Extension School to Gambella, Ethiopia, serving a large population of refugees. The mission has expanded to include numerous congregations and has educated over 300 students, many of whom now preach in refugee camps and villages.
Impact
Through the mission's efforts, over 3,500 individuals have embraced the Gospel, leading to the establishment of numerous congregations in refugee camps and villages. Additionally, the mission has successfully conducted Vacation Bible Schools, teaching over 23,000 children since its inception.
