Our Story
The Hillcrest Committee, established in 1946 by Nan Day, was the first unit of the American Cancer Society in Jackson County, Oregon. In 2013, it became an independent 501(c)(3) organization, continuing its mission to raise funds for cancer prevention, research, education, and service.
Impact
With over two and a half million dollars donated to various organizations, the Hillcrest Committee has significantly contributed to cancer prevention and research, including vital support for OHSU and local cancer care centers.
