About Southern Crescent Chorale

The Southern Crescent Chorale (SCC) has built a strong reputation for excellence in the arts community of the south metro area. Under the passionate direction of veteran choral director Janice Folsom, the Chorale provides talented singers with opportunities to perform a diverse range of challenging choral literature. With members from six different metro Atlanta counties, SCC dedicates countless hours to creating beautiful music that resonates with audiences across the Southern Crescent region.

Impact on the Community

Each season, the Chorale proudly presents a benefit concert, offered free of charge to the public. These concerts aim to generate donations for organizations that support children, with past beneficiaries including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta and the Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries.
