The Southern Arizona Eventing Association, formerly known as the Grass Ridge Equestrian Foundation, was established to continue the legacy of promoting eventing in Southern Arizona after the closure of Grass Ridge Farm in 2014. With a commitment to preserving and relocating cross-country course infrastructure, SAzEA has developed a new venue at the Pima County Fairgrounds, successfully hosting its first horse trials in March 2019.
SAzEA fosters equestrian education and development through competitions, clinics, and schooling opportunities, promoting good sportsmanship and enjoyment of the sport.
