Our Story

Founded in 2012, the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum is located in a historic cotton warehouse in Carrollton, Georgia. Established through the advocacy of the Georgia Quilt Project and The Georgia Quilt Council, this museum serves as a dedicated space for the appreciation and promotion of quilting and textile arts in the southeastern United States.

Impact

In 2023 alone, the museum has hosted over 50 exhibits, reached more than 300 children through its Quilt Camp program, and offered 22 adult classes in various textile arts. It serves a diverse audience, fostering community engagement and showcasing the rich history of textile art.
