Originally known as the Greater Charleston Safety Council, it has transformed over the years to serve the entire states of South Carolina and Georgia. The organization is committed to enhancing community safety through comprehensive safety education and training programs.

Since launching the Alive at 25 program, SCNSC has successfully reduced traffic fatalities in South Carolina by 36%, reaching over 230,000 students.
