Our Story
The Southeast Community Development Corporation (SCDC) was founded in April 1994 to tackle pressing social and economic challenges in the Southeast’s eight member cities. By bringing together elected officials and community leaders, SCDC focuses on regional economic development, believing that local problems require local solutions. With a proven track record of managing impactful community projects, SCDC has successfully administered bus shuttles, federally funded housing renovations, and a college scholarship program.
