Our Story
Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Centers, Inc. (SEBNC) has been a cornerstone of community support since its inception in the 1930s. Originally a project of the National Council of Jewish Women, SEBNC transformed in the 1970s to better serve the predominantly African American population of the Southeast Bronx. Today, it offers a wide range of services designed to enhance the quality of life for local residents.
Impact
For over 90 years, SEBNC has positively impacted the lives of around 4,000 individuals, from infants to adults with developmental disabilities, through 20 diverse programs across 13 facilities.
