Our Story

Since its humble beginnings in a small warehouse on North Mesquite Street in Corpus Christi, South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind has grown from just three employees to nearly 200. The organization has expanded from a small building to a 70,000 square foot facility on over seven acres, evolving from providing brooms and mops to offering a wide range of office products, military supplies, and essential services to government agencies. The heart of the Lighthouse remains steadfast: to provide opportunities for individuals living with vision loss to lead productive lives and enhance their quality of life.
