South Side Help Center

Our Story

For over thirty years, South Side Help Center has been dedicated to serving the South Side of Chicago, focusing on empowering individuals and families to embrace a lifestyle of prevention against mental, physical, and social challenges. Originally established to educate the African-American community about HIV, SSHC has expanded its services to include youth mentorship, family violence prevention, mental health counseling, and case management, providing positive alternatives for the community.
